Consulate Closings

The Vietnam Embassy will be closed on December 26 and January 2.

 

Vietnam Business Visa Requirements (HN and DN Visa):

​

 

1. Valid Passport with an expiration date greater than six months from the date of entry and at least two

    blank pages.

​

​2. Completed and Signed Application Form. The application form can be completed online at http://visa.mofa.gov.vn. The application can also be completed by hand (Download)

​

3. Two recent passport-style color photos, with full face, front view, no hat, and against a plain white

    background.

​

4. Travel Itinerary or a Copy of a Plane Ticket

​

5. Photocopy of Driver’s License or State ID

​

6. Business Letter from Applicant’s Company in US (see sample)

​

7. Invitation Letter from Sponsoring Company in Vietnam

​

8. Fee Schedule (download) ​

Non-U.S. Passport Holders Must Include:

1. A copy of a green card or a valid US visa

​

​Visa Types

​

Business Visa (DN/HN Visa) - A Business Visa is issued to a person who is invited to Vietnam for business.

​

Tourist Visa (DL Visa) - A Tourist Visa is issued to a person who comes to Vietnam for sightseeing, visiting family members/friends or other private purposes.

*All applications will be sent to the Vietnam Embassy in Washington D.C. An additional shipment fee will be charged. This cost will be charged either on the provided shipping account or the USCCC account.

​USCCC accepts cash, credit card or check. If you would like to pay by check, please make the check payable to US-China Chamber of Commerce. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express credit cards. Please note that a 4.9% credit card fee applies to the total cost.

 

Any additional work required to complete a visa in a timely manner may be subjected to an additional charge. For example, additional trips to the Consulate or personal passport delivery. ​

Please call our office at (312) 368-9911 to make sure that your materials meet the requirements before sending us your application materials. You can also email us a copy of your application materials at info@usccc.org, so we can check your documents.

USCCC can ship the completed passport, Vietnam visa and receipt using the applicant's FedEx or UPS shipping account. If the applicant does not have a shipping account, we will charge a shipping fee to cover the cost of shipping. The estimated shipping cost is $32.50.
